Job Summary
Carmi Flavors is hiring a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep our production equipment running in a fast-paced, FDA-regulated food manufacturing facility. This is a full-time, hourly role with consistent work and overtime opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain production equipment (mixers, pumps, filling lines, packaging)
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Work with air systems (valves, actuators, regulators, compressors)
- Perform preventive maintenance and respond to breakdowns
- Follow FDA, GMP, and safety standards
- Assist with equipment setup and changeovers
- Building, Facility and exterior maintenance
Requirements
- 2+ years of maintenance or mechanical experience
- Strong hands-on skills with tools and equipment repair
- Experience with pneumatic systems
- Basic knowledge of motors and electrical troubleshooting
- Experience in food manufacturing or GMP environment preferred
- Reliable and able to work in a production setting
Schedule
- Full-time, hourly
- Mon–Thurs: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Overtime and occasional Fridays/Saturdays as needed
