3rd Shift – CNC Machinist / Operator
$24.00–$28.00/hour
(Includes a $3.00/hour shift premium.)
Sunday Night–Friday Morning | 11:00pm – 7:30am
Ideal for experienced CNC machinists with 2+ years of CNC experience who enjoy working independently and taking ownership of quality and production.

We're hiring for two different opportunities within our machining department:
- 2nd Shift CNC Operator – A great opportunity for someone with at least 6 months of CNC experience who wants to continue learning and advancing their machining skills.
- 3rd Shift CNC Machinist / Operator – A role for experienced machinists who are comfortable working independently, inspecting their own work, and helping maintain production and quality throughout the shift.

What You'll Work On
Depending on production needs, you'll operate:
- CNC Mills (high-volume production)
- CNC Lathes (shorter production runs with greater variety)
Depending on your experience, you may operate one or multiple machines during your shift.
What You'll Be Doing
Machine Operation & Production
- Operate CNC mills and/or lathes
- Monitor production while maintaining quality and efficiency
- Load and unload parts
- Identify tooling concerns and perform basic adjustments as experience allows
- Keep machines running safely and efficiently
- Maintain production goals while minimizing downtime
Quality & Inspection
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections
- Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment
- Learn CMM and optical comparator inspection equipment
- Verify parts meet blueprint specifications
- Take ownership of the quality of every part produced
Daily Responsibilities
- Keep production moving efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow quality and safety procedures
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and teammates
What We're Looking For
2nd Shift CNC Operator
- Minimum of 6 months of CNC machining or CNC operator experience
- Basic understanding of CNC machining processes
- Ability to use precision measuring equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable attendance
- Desire to continue learning and growing within CNC machining
3rd Shift CNC Machinist / Operator
- 2+ years of CNC machining or CNC operator experience
- Ability to inspect your own work using precision measuring equipment
- Strong understanding of CNC machining operations
- Ability to make basic offsets and tooling adjustments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Comfortable working independently
Preferred for Either Shift
- Blueprint reading
- Experience operating multiple CNC machines
- Experience with CMM or optical comparator equipment

Overtime

- 2nd Shift employees have the opportunity to work up to 10 hours on Fridays
- Optional Saturday overtime is regularly available
