CAD Technician – Montgomery, AL | Direct Hire | Benefits Included
We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician in Montgomery, AL to provide electrical drafting and design support for our client's engineering team. This position will create and modify electrical drawings, schematics, and models while working closely with Electrical Engineers and Designers.
Responsibilities:
Create and revise electrical drawings using Autodesk Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
Develop lighting plans, power plans, electrical details, single-line diagrams, and related drawing sets.
Interpret redlines and update drawings/models accurately.
Assemble electronic drawing sets and submittals.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and team leaders to meet project deadlines.
Provide basic computer/software troubleshooting support as needed.
Qualifications:
Required: Autodesk Revit MEP experience
Proficient with AutoCAD
Ability to read and interpret building schematics.
Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license
Must pass background check and drug screening
Must be authorized to work in the United States
