Hours are from: 9:00am-5:30pm (Tuesday, Friday & Sunday)
Qualified candidates must:
- Must a current food handlers license
- Able to follow & assist with menus/recipes
- Experience with commercial equipment
- Engage residents with cooking activities
- Knowledge of scratch cooking & fine dining prepping
- Prepare bulk items & prep various foods to be cooked the next day for 50-60 residents
- Experience with textured foods (regular, mechanical soft & pureed).
- Ability to develop & maintain an inventory of food and chemicals
- Perform quality checks in each pantry/fridge/freezer. (identify expired & non-labeled food)
- Must be able to multi-task & be a universal worker (i.e. cook, prep, dish washer & server)
- Knowledge of inventory tracking & basic recipe components (i.e. 5 mother sauces)
