Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, including monitoring premises, enforcing regulations, and responding to incidents effectively.
Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and prevent unauthorized access.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed during emergencies.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to handle security breaches or criminal activities.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage.
- Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict resolution skills to de-escalate situations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
