Sardis Weekday School is a Preschool with a Heart! Our teachers really are the heart and soul of our preschool program. They not only teach our students new things in engaging ways every day, more importantly, they make school a loving and safe environment for all students to grow and learn. If you want to experience the joy of teaching, working in a positive working environment, Sardis Weekday School may be the place! Our school hours are 9am-1pm, Monday-Friday.
We're looking for Preschool Teachers and Teacher Assistants who will be responsible for instructing children ages 1 to 5. The right candidate should be highly proactive, able to manage multiple tasks at one time and comfortable communicating with children. Our school is focused on educating the whole child, so candidates should also be organized, experienced in lesson planning and have a background in teaching preschool children.
Preschool Teachers have the support of an assistant teacher. Candidates should be experienced in lesson planning, classroom management and implementation of theme based curriculum in a play-based learning environment. A background in teaching preschool children is preferred.
Assistant Teachers support the Lead Teacher and should love working with small children as well as being organized and able to manage multiple tasks. They should be able to use effective strategies to assist children in emotional and social development. Relative work experience is required.
Work Hours are 8:30-1:30 Monday- Friday
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 per week
