Plasmetech Lab & Services is seeking dependable, professional Medical Courier Drivers to provide pharmacy and medical supply deliveries throughout the Richmond metropolitan area. We are looking for contractors who take pride in providing safe, accurate, and on-time deliveries while maintaining exceptional customer service.
Available Contract OpportunitiesRouted Deliveries
- Scheduled recurring delivery routes
- Routes typically follow a consistent schedule
- Routes may change based on customer needs and business demand
STAT / On-Demand Deliveries
- Rush deliveries dispatched throughout the shift
- Immediate pickups and time-sensitive medical deliveries
- Orders assigned by dispatch or directly from customers
Backup / Standby Drivers
- Fill-in opportunities for scheduled routes
- Additional work during periods of increased delivery volume
- Great opportunity for flexible contractors seeking supplemental income
Services Performed
Independent contractors will transport:
- Pharmacy medications
- Medical supplies
- Healthcare equipment
- Laboratory specimens (when applicable)
All deliveries must be completed professionally while maintaining confidentiality and following applicable HIPAA guidelines.
Coverage Needed
Monday – Friday: 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Saturday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Preference will be given to contractors available four (4) or more days each week.

Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must have:
- Cargo Van, Sprinter Van, or Mini Cargo Van (preferred)
- Valid driver's license
- Current vehicle registration
- Current automobile insurance
- Reliable smartphone with GPS
- Excellent time management skills
- Professional appearance and communication
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work independently
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background screening if required
