Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with a friendly demeanor
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed at all times
- Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues quickly, and ensuring a memorable experience
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings
- Basic knowledge of sushi and Japanese cuisine- will be taught in training, but prior knowledge is a plus
- Strong knowledge of basic POS systems for efficient order processing
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and handle guest relations gracefully
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks seamlessly during busy hours
- Ability to upsell menu items tactfully to boost sales while ensuring guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and accurate bill splitting
Requirements
- Flexible availability, including holiday, nights and weekends
- able to work 3-5 shifts per week
- Must have current food handlers/tabc

Pay: $40.00 - $700.00 per day
