The Boys & Girls Club is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated individual to serve as an At-Risk Teen Mentor. This role is vital in supporting the emotional, social, and academic development of teens facing challenging circumstances. The mentor will build trusting relationships, provide guidance, and help teens navigate life’s obstacles in a safe and supportive environment.

Build positive, consistent relationships with teens aged 13–18.

Facilitate group discussions, workshops, and activities focused on life skills, academic support, and personal development.

Provide one-on-one mentoring and support tailored to individual needs.

Collaborate with staff, families, and community partners to ensure holistic support.

Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress.

Uphold the Club’s values and ensure a safe, inclusive environment.

Drive students home at the end of the day in a Club vehicle (must be 21+).

Must be 21 years of age or older (required for driving responsibilities).

High school diploma or GED required; college coursework in social work, psychology, education, or related field preferred.

Prior experience working with youth, especially at-risk populations, strongly preferred.

Strong communication, empathy, and conflict resolution skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
