We are seeking an experienced candidate for the Full Time position of Lead Handyman.
This Full Time role involves performing various maintenance, repair, and light renovation tasks, ensuring that the homes we work on are in optimal condition, while also mentoring team members and helping oversee day-to-day job quality.
We are a Local Family Owned Business and have built our business from the ground up.
Responsibilities
We handle everything from the smaller stuff on the Honey Do List up through light renovation projects. We do not build home additions or take on large-scale, full remodels.
Typical work includes:
- Drywall & ceiling repair, including new drywall installation for room refreshes
- Painting, staining & sealing
- Trim & crown molding
- Door & window repair/installation, cabinet & hardware installation
- Shelving & storage installs
- Mailbox & post
- TV, picture & wall art mounting
- Flooring & tile
- Vent & dryer vent cleaning
- Fence, railings & decks
- Mobility & accessibility upgrades (grab bars, handrails, etc.)
- Furniture and general assembly
- Smart home & tech installs
- Seasonal & filter maintenance
- Other light remodeling, finishing, and miscellaneous jobs as needed
As Lead Handyman, you'll also:
- Mentor and support other team members on job sites, ensuring quality and consistency of work
- Maintain your van, tools, & appearance to maintain organized & clean.
- Serve as the point of contact for clients on more complex jobs
- Help train new team members on tools, techniques, and company standards
- Troubleshoot and problem-solve live on the job

What We Are Looking For
- Significant experience, you should have recent experience as a contractor, handyman, remodeler, or facilities maintenance tech, ideally with some experience leading or mentoring others
- Comfort with light construction/renovation work such as framing, drywall, and small deck builds
- Ability to make sure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs
- Provide exceptional service and amazing communication
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
You Provide
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and lead others
- Familiarity with a wide range of tools and equipment used in home repair, maintenance, and light construction tasks
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required.
- Ability to pass a background check consistent with applicable law; criminal history, if any, will be individually assessed as it relates to job duties
- Upbeat attitude, outgoing personality, willingness to help grow the business and lead by example
