Job Summary
We are looking for experienced Class A CDL Drivers to join our team! You will operate commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, to deliver freight efficiently and safely across designated routes. Must have at least 2 years of flatbed experience. Hazmat endorsement recommended but not required. This position offers a fast-paced logistics operation with a focus on customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and specialized equipment.
- Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Follow designated routes for delivery and pick-up, ensuring timely arrivals while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate tickets, deliveries, vehicle maintenance needs, and route documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly.
Requirements
- Must have Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record for a min of 2 years.
- Must have flatbed experience
- CNG experience is a plus but not a requirement for employment will train.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles comfortably.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards for commercial drivers.
- Experience with load & unload procedures and handling various types of freight.
- Familiarity with route driving across urban and rural areas; ability to adapt to changing schedules or routes as needed.
- Oilfield experience preferred but not required for employment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $29.41 - $31.50 per hour
