- Experience with laser projection systems (Virtek or Aligned Vision).
- Experience with composite cutting tables (Gerber, Zund, Eastman, etc).

Working knowledge in controls engineering (i.e. motion control, PLCs, machine sensors, etc.).

Familiarity with propeller manufacturing, rotating composite structures, Ply designing, Metal to Composite bonding, Thermoplastic composites or other aerostructure applications is highly valued.

Manufacturing background in a mass production environment and/or a regulated industry.

Prior hands-on experience with student engineering organizations or competitive build teams such as Formula SAE, Design/Build/Fly, Baja SAE, or similar groups, especially where composites, tooling, manufacturing, or airframe/propeller fabrication were involved.

Experience supporting the manufacture of composite propellers, blades, aerodynamic structures, or other high-performance composite components.
Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position $66,560 - $82,400/yr. The compensation package will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
