Kitchen Nation is a rapidly growing kitchen, bathroom, and home remodeling company serving the Greater Boston area.
We have invested heavily in marketing, lead generation, and building our reputation, and as a result we are generating a consistent flow of qualified remodeling opportunities. Unlike many companies that struggle to find work, our biggest challenge is scaling operations, building systems, managing projects efficiently, and turning demand into a world class remodeling business.
We are looking for a highly motivated Sales & Operations Manager who can help bridge that gap. This person will play a critical role in closing projects, sourcing materials, building and managing subcontractor teams, overseeing project execution, and helping create the operational infrastructure needed to support long-term growth.
This is not a traditional project manager position. We are looking for someone who wants to take ownership, build processes, lead people, and help transform Kitchen Nation into one of the leading remodeling companies in Massachusetts.
For the right person, this role offers significant upside through performance based compensation, profit sharing, and potential equity participation.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Sales & Business Development
- Meet homeowners and conduct consultations
- Create project scopes and estimates
- Follow up with prospects and close deals
- Build referral relationships with real estate agents, designers, and industry partners
- Help develop and manage future sales staff
Operations & Project Management
- Oversee remodeling projects from sale through completion
- Coordinate subcontractors and installers
- Build and expand our network of reliable crews
- Schedule projects and manage timelines
- Perform site visits and quality control inspections
- Ensure projects stay on budget and on schedule
- Maintain excellent client communication throughout the project lifecycle
Materials & Vendor Management
- Source cabinets, countertops, flooring, tile, and other project materials
- Develop relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Improve purchasing processes and pricing
- Coordinate deliveries and logistics
Systems & Growth
- Create and improve operational systems
- Help build a scalable organization
- Assist with hiring and managing future project managers, salespeople, and support staff
- Drive accountability, efficiency, and profitability across the company
Who We're Looking For
- Experience in residential remodeling, construction management, kitchen remodeling, bathroom remodeling, or home renovation
- Strong sales ability and comfort closing deals
- Experience managing subcontractors and construction projects
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Resourceful problem solver who can figure things out without constant supervision
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to grow into a leadership role
- Local knowledge of the Greater Boston construction and remodeling market is a major plus
Compensation
This role is designed for someone who wants upside.
Compensation may include:
- Commission on closed projects
- Profit sharing opportunities
