Duties
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service delivery in a fast-paced environment
- Plan and develop menus that align with the restaurant’s concept, incorporating fine dining standards and dietary requirements
- Oversee food preparation, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation meet established standards
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste
- Enforce food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring seamless execution from setup to service
- Supervise shift operations, including staff scheduling, training, and performance management to foster a motivated team atmosphere
Experience
- Proven culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining environments
- Supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting with team management responsibilities
- Extensive knowledge of food production techniques, menu planning, and kitchen management practices
- Experience in banquet catering, dietary department operations, and food service management
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and food handling safety standards
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse culinary team
- Prior experience in restaurant management or catering services is highly desirable
