We're hiring a Kitchen Cleaning Team Member to join our turnover crew. No prior professional cleaning experience is required — but you must be coachable, physically capable, and serious about doing the job right.
READ THIS BEFORE APPLYING: This is not a casual job. Our kitchens are the hardest-hit area of every property after a guest stay. You'll be cleaning grease, scrubbing appliances, sanitizing surfaces, and resetting a full kitchen to guest-ready condition — fast and consistently. If you're not willing to put in the physical effort or follow a system, this is not the right role.
-- You must be physically fit. This is an active, hands-on role. You'll be on your feet, bending, scrubbing, lifting, and moving quickly for hours. Physical conditioning matters.
-- You must have reliable transportation. We operate across multiple Kalamazoo-area properties. Showing up late or inconsistently is not acceptable.
-- You must work well within a team. Our crews depend on each other. If you can't communicate, take direction, and carry your share of the work, this is not the right fit.
-- You must be coachable. We have a specific standard. Prior kitchen or cleaning experience is a plus but not required — what matters is your willingness to learn and execute our system consistently.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Deep clean and sanitize all kitchen surfaces after every guest stay
- Clean inside and outside of all appliances — oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher
- Scrub sinks, countertops, cabinet faces, and backsplashes
- Wash, dry, and reset all dishes, cookware, and utensils to a set standard
- Identify and report any damage, missing items, or maintenance needs
- Coordinate with the crew to complete full-property turnovers on time
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

OUR STANDARD: Every kitchen we turn over must look like it's never been used. Appliances are spotless inside and out. Dishes are clean, dry, and properly stored. Surfaces are sanitized and streak-free. Supplies are stocked. We run inspections after every turn. We do not cut corners.
SCHEDULE: - Availability required 7 days a week - Working hours: 10:15 AM to 4:00 PM - Approximately 15 hours per week PAY: $20 per hour
Pay: $20.00 per hour

- This is a physically active role - you'll be on your feet, moving quickly, and cleaning multiple properties back-to-back. Are you comfortable working in a fast-paced environment for several hours at a time?
- Not all of our homes are on the bus line, so relying on public transportation is not an option for this role. You will be cleaning multiple homes a day, so relying on a ride is also not an option for this role. Do you have access to your own reliable vehicle daily?
- This role averages 10-15 hours per week. Does that work for your current financial needs?
