Job Summary:
The Welder/Fabrication C fabricates and assembles complex metal parts and assemblies by interpreting blueprints and work instructions. This role operates a wide range of welding and fabrication equipment, ensures quality standards are met, and troubleshoots routine issues while working under limited supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble intricate production and experimental metal parts
- Perform MIG, TIG, and spot welding
- Operate fabrication equipment (shears, brakes, drills, mills, lathes, etc.)
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and work instructions
- Inspect finished work to ensure tolerance and quality requirements
- Identify and resolve routine fabrication issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support peers as needed
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 6+ years of relevant experience
- OR
- Associate’s Degree with 2+ years of related experience
- Fully proficient welding and fabrication skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
