The Patient Coordinator plays a vital role in creating a welcoming experience for our patients while supporting the clinical team through effective scheduling, communication, and administrative excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Experience
- Welcome and check in patients with warmth and professionalism
- Ensure patients feel valued, informed, and cared for throughout their visit
- Assist with patient check-out and scheduling future appointments
Scheduling & Communication
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Schedule appointments efficiently to support provider productivity and patient convenience
- Help maintain a productive and organized schedule
Administrative Support
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Verify and update patient information
- Assist with insurance estimates and treatment-related financial discussions
Teamwork & Accountability
- Collaborate with doctors and team members to deliver outstanding patient care
- Contribute to a positive, solution-focused work environment
- Take ownership of responsibilities and follow through on commitments
Qualifications
- Previous dental front office or customer service experience preferred
- Experience with Eaglesoft or other dental software is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Positive attitude and professional appearance
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
