Overview
Our client is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join their fast-paced, vibrant company. The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources at Anybill. This role involves managing employee relations, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, and creating and maintaining a positive work environment.
This individual will be the sole Human Resources person for the company so the ability to handle all aspects of human resources independently is critical to this role.
This position will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Benefits and Compensation: Manages the administration of benefits plans including open-enrollment process, educating employees on benefit options and proper enrollment procedures. Responsible for updating enrollments for qualifying-events and new employee enrollments, as well as terminations. Collaborates with broker to submit required documents through insurance providers and ensure proper deductions are entered in the payroll platform.
- HRIS Technology: Responsible for maintaining updated demographic information within ADP WorkForce Now. Collaborates with department managers to ensure the Time and Attendance system within ADP’s WorkForce Now is properly prepared for the company’s bi-weekly payroll cycle. Coordinates the HRIS portion of the Employee Review Process annually. Demonstrates an understanding of the importance and practices around information security including security of assets, physical and virtual, confidentiality and privacy of sensitive information.
- Training and Development: Assists with the recruitment and interview process. Leads new hire orientation and onboarding processes. Assists team leaders with the management of the PIP Process as well as assisting departmental managers with employee improvement strategies and interventions. Responsible for documenting and maintaining training and certification records in ADP WorkForce Now.
- Employee Relations: Serves as the first point of contact for HR Department and assists with employee questions and/or concerns. Collaborates in the planning of company events and functions, including employee engagement and wellness programs. Must remain up-to-date with relevant information and security practices within the industry.
- Administration: Maintains all records of personnel-related data in both paper-form and ADP WorkForce Now. Ensures all administrative tasks with employee onboarding and termination requirements are met.
- Performs all other HR and Administration related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintain confidentiality
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) required
- Experience with ADP WorkForce Now preferred.

Location
Our client’s headquarters is located in Bethesda, MD. Our second office is located in Herndon, VA. Employee is expected to report to the offices; the frequency can be flexible.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
