Collaborate with educators and families as you support students’ communication needs across three nearby campuses.
Qualifications:
- Active Alabama SLP License (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Background in pediatric or school-based SLP services highly preferred
- Strong ability to collaborate, communicate, and document progress effectively
- Commitment to creating inclusive, supportive learning environments
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy and conduct assessments for K-12 students in individual and group settings
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals in collaboration with school staff and families
- Monitor student progress and maintain thorough records in compliance with state and district requirements
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to generalize skills in the classroom
- Provide services at three school sites within close proximity for a diverse and engaging caseload
- Participate in school meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
