We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper with proficiency in QuickBooks Online to join our team at Trader Bos. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records while also overseeing warehouse inventory management. Your expertise in QuickBooks Online and inventory tracking will be essential for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and track warehouse inventory, including receiving, organizing, and reconciling stock levels.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Utilize QuickBooks Online to record inventory transactions, such as purchases, sales, and adjustments.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions related to inventory.
- Prepare inventory-related reports, including stock levels, valuation, and movement.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to optimize inventory management procedures.
- Monitor and analyze inventory data to identify trends, anticipate needs, and minimize stockouts or overstock situations.
- Work closely with the finance team to reconcile inventory-related accounts.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role, preferably with inventory management responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is essential.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
