PHYSICAL THERAPIST
MUST BE A GRADUATE OF AN ACCREDITED PROGRAM AS A PHYSICAL THERAPIST PT, HAVE TAKEN THE NPTE OR ELIGIBLE TO TAKE IT AND HAVE A STATE LICENSE TO PRACTICE AS ONE OR ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR ONE.
Physical Therapist PT with the appropriate Master's or Doctorite Degree, has taken and passed the NPTE exam or is eligible to sit for the exam and has a Professional license to practice as a Physical Therapist in your State of Practice. This position is in our Skilled Nursing Facility. We have both full time and PRN positions available. My direct cell number is 352-586-7811 and my email address is [email protected].
Duties/Responsibilities:
Assesses the needs of residents with physical therapy needs and matches their needs with services available. Meets with residents regularly according to treatment program schedule, evaluates, and maintains records of residents' progress.
Reports progress to management and family members and meets with them on a regular basis to discuss.
Repeats evaluations on a regular basis to measure progress according to professional guidelines.
Keeps current with professional literature and attends seminars on a regular basis to maintain and update professional skills.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Hearing ability sufficient to evaluate residents' physical therapy needs.
Skill communicating verbally and in writing with residents and family members so that all parties understand the program and the degree of progress being made.
Must be able to pass level 2 fingerprinting with an Eligible status.
