Overview:
The estimator is responsible for developing cost estimates on routine small projects under direct supervision for construction as required by clients documents.
Responsibilities:
- Examine proposals, blueprints, and specifications to determine the kind and time period of work necessary for a project.

Prepare material orders and other documentation.

Visit job sites to assess progress, maintain logs, troubleshoot problems, and evaluate work.

Create project plans from estimates, and define tasks, schedules, and necessary personnel.

Confer with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers, and negotiate and use local expertise to estimate costs.

Perform other duties assigned by the manager.
Qualifications:
- High School minimum; Degree in related field preferred; Experience overall - two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.

Must be able to pass background screen

Experience working in ACCUBID preferred

Must work at an intermediate level of Microsoft Word and Excel

Proficient in take-off estimator planning

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to multitask while staying organized
