ACE Forwarding is seeking a reliable and motivated Local/Regional Truck Driver to join our team. This position offers the unique opportunity to drive locally while being home every day with the opportunities to be out one night at a time always giving a day in advance notice. Our drivers play a crucial role in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and that our customers receive their deliveries on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a commercial vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
- Transport freight to and from designated locations, ensuring timely delivery and pick-up
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is safe and compliant
- Ensuring proper handling and securing of freight
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including bills of lading and other required documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and maintain an open line of communication regarding any issues or delays. Follow safety protocols and company policies to promote a safe work environment.
Job Requirements:
Wage Range: 21.00 - 26.00 per hour
General Description of Benefits: - Quarterly Bonus up to $300
- Medical, Dental and Vision starts the 1st day of the month after 90 days.
