FIRE DAMPER AND/OR FIRESTOPPING TECHNICIAN

We specialize in Fire Door Inspections, Relabeling and Repairs, Fire/Smoke Damper Inspections and Repairs, Firestopping, Fireproofing, and other Life Safety Accreditation Services.
We are offering jobs in the following fields:
Fire/Smoke Damper inspections and repairs - Responsibilities include:

Inspecting and testing Fire/Smoke Dampers per NFPA codes

Repairing dampers as needed
-
Understanding all operating components and compliance requirements
-
Determining accessibility and correcting accessibility issues
-
Interacting and communicating directly with facility managers
-
Being detail-oriented in completing all necessary documentation
-
Presenting yourself in a professional manner
-
Maintaining timeliness and accountability
Firestopping - Responsibilities Include:
-
Firestopping of all major manufacturer materials
-
Caulk, spray, and stuff applications
-
Minor Carpentry and drywall
-
Detail-oriented for completing surveys and repair reporting
-
Annual training sessions
Job Skills & Requirements:
-
Self-motivated and able to work independently
-
Must be able to use a tablet/smartphone.

Understands how to treat a customer professionally.
-
Professional appearance
-
Must be able to lift over 60 pounds for firestopping.
-
Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent
-
Valid driver’s license – no DUI in the last 5 years.

Must be over 18 years of age
-
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen (the screen does not test for marijuana)
-
Travel is required
-
OSHA 10 certification or passing the course within 10 days of employment
Salary & Benefits:
-
Pay range based on experience, technical ability, and service, starting at $41,600 per year.

Insurance: Health, Dental, Disability, Accident, Hospital, and Life Insurance offered after 60 days

Holidays: After six months
-
PTO: After six months
