Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter / Laborer to join our construction team. Duties
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install various building components using hand tools and power tools
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute project specifications accurately
- Perform framing, trim carpentry, drywall installation, and finishing work with precision
- Assist with concrete forming, rebar installation, and roofing tasks as needed
- Handle heavy lifting and material fabrication safely on-site to ensure efficient workflow
- Support restoration efforts including water damage remediation, plastering, stucco application, and mold remediation
- Install fixtures such as cabinets, doors, siding, flooring, tile, and other finishing elements
Requirements
- Prior experience in construction or related fields such as carpentry or remodeling is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated learners
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and other construction equipment safely
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working at heights or in confined spaces
- Familiarity with the use of scaffolding, metal stud framing or roofing techniques is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to take initiative
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in the restoration industry
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating processes is a plus
