Tidewater Grille is looking for skilled servers at least 21 years old to go beyond taking orders and serving. The right candidate has 2+ years of serving experience, enjoys people, works well in a team-oriented environment, and can provide friendly attentive service to enhance the overall guest experience.

Requirements: Duties & Responsibilities
- Acknowledge guests promptly.
- Present drink and food menus, make recommendations and answer any questions about items on the menu.
- Check customer identification for age verification.
- Receive and serve food orders to guests.
- Maintain cleanliness in front as well as back of the house, including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas.
- Know our beers, wines, and spirits and be able to accurately describe each in terms of taste, style, and category.
- Accept guest payments in cash, credit card, and gift card and make change (if applicable).
- Pre-bus, clear, clean and reset tables.
- Know the company’s upcoming events and promotions.
- Maintain appropriate appearance and uniform cleanliness in accordance with Company dress code.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years serving experience.
- General knowledge of beer, wine and spirits.
- Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a POS system
- Able to work in a standing position for up to 8 hours at a time.
- Be comfortable engaging guests in general conversation.
- Able to multi-task.
- Maintain a positive attitude in all situations.
- Available to work days, nights, and weekends.
