Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Illustrator to join our creative team for a High-Visibility Public Project!
In this role, you will bring ideas to life through compelling visual storytelling, combining artistic talent with technical expertise. Your work will shape the visual identity of our projects, from digital media to print advertising. Project Scope is for a Disney-esque style public event including well know institutions and brands.
Creative assignments include a wide variety of disciplines, including:
- Theme Park Style Brand identity and logo design
- Billboard and outdoor advertising graphics
- Print and digital marketing materials
- Large-format environmental graphics
- Architectural façade concepts and themed building elevations
- Fantasy-inspired architectural illustrations
- Storybook and whimsical environmental artwork
- Signage and wayfinding systems
- Presentation renderings and client presentation boards
- Production artwork and print-ready graphic files
Duties
- Develop original illustrations for digital platforms, print media, advertising campaigns, and branding materials.
- Collaborate with art directors, graphic designers, and marketing teams to conceptualize and execute visual concepts that align with project goals.
- Utilize graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Figma, and After Effects to create polished artwork.
- Produce illustrations and digital art that enhance storytelling across various media formats.
- Apply principles of color theory, typography, layout design, and visual arts painting to craft engaging visuals.
- Adapt illustrations for different media.
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine artwork while maintaining high standards of quality and creativity.
Skills
- Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma for digital design projects.
- Strong illustration skills & techniques and digital art creation.
- Knowledge of typography design for media and visual storytelling methods that captivate audiences.
- Understanding of layout design principles for print advertising, interior or production design projects.
- Familiarity with web development basics such as HTML and CSS for integrating visuals into websites.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate concepts clearly and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
