Position Overview
Terra Contracting is a growing underground utility contractor serving the Las Vegas Valley. Our teams support critical infrastructure projects involving fiber optic, natural gas, and power utilities throughout Southern Nevada.
We are looking for a dependable and safety-minded Construction Runner / Field Operations Runner to support our Operations and Administrative teams. This position plays an important role in keeping our field crews, jobsites, yard, and office operations moving efficiently.
The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, comfortable driving throughout the Las Vegas Valley, and willing to jump in wherever support is needed. This is a hands-on position that combines delivery and pickup responsibilities with facility and field support.
Essential Responsibilities
- Safely drive company vehicles throughout the Las Vegas Valley to deliver and pick up materials, supplies, permits, documents, checks, packages, and other items.
- Support Operations with daily requests and time-sensitive deliveries.
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with coworkers, field personnel, vendors, customers, and other business partners.
- Assist with transporting materials, tools, and supplies between the office, yard, vendors, and jobsites.
- Assist the Yard Hand with daily yard activities and organization as needed.
- Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked restrooms and common areas.
- Empty trash receptacles and remove debris from office and common areas.
- Receive and distribute packages and deliveries to office personnel.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Follow company safety policies and safe work practices at all times.
- Perform other job-related duties and assist other departments as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license.
- Clean and acceptable driving record.
- Construction OSHA 10 certification.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Strong commitment to safety and safe driving practices.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with field and office personnel.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize requests, and manage multiple tasks throughout the day.
- Willingness to work outdoors and assist with physical tasks as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to regularly stand, walk, sit, reach, talk, hear, and use hands to handle objects, tools, and controls.
- Ability to occasionally lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to occasionally lift and move items weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to work in an environment where duties may require travel between office, yard, vendor, and construction jobsite locations.

Schedule
- Full-Time
- 8-hour shifts
- Overtime as needed
- Weekends as needed
