About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and support high-impact workstreams within a major organizational transformation program. Reporting to the Project Lead, you will manage strategic initiatives and ensure successful execution across cross-functional teams. This role requires a self-motivated leader with a proven track record of delivering complex projects, managing stakeholders, and driving organizational change with minimal supervision.
This is a Finance Transformation Project Manager role focused on leading enterprise transformation initiatives and supporting Finance PMO workstreams.
Experience with Finance PMO, Business Transformation, or Enterprise Transformation programs is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple project workstreams across geographically dispersed teams.
- Coordinate project activities, implementation plans, and migration schedules.
- Prioritize project deliverables and communicate progress to senior leadership.
- Develop business cases, project plans, assessments, and communication plans.
- Support strategic decision-making and facilitate successful program execution.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while escalating critical issues when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with project governance, controls, and change management processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve program objectives and successful project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Minimum 10 years of Project Management experience.
- Proven experience managing large-scale enterprise projects or transformation initiatives.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with geographically distributed teams is preferred.
- Local candidates residing in or near Urbandale, IA only.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading enterprise transformation or change management initiatives.
- Experience with Finance PMO, Business Transformation, or Enterprise Transformation programs.
- Background in Insurance or large enterprise environments is a plus.
- Strong project governance, risk management, and program delivery experience.
