Admissions Coordinator
Freedom Recovery Centers is seeking an experienced Admissions Coordinator to join our team. This role owns the admissions process for individuals seeking substance use treatment, from first inquiry through admission. Success in this position requires a working command of treatment admissions and genuine compassion for people in crisis.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls, chats, and form submissions from prospective clients, families, and referring professionals.
- Own the admissions process end to end, keeping it smooth and supportive from inquiry to admit.
- Explain the addiction and recovery process accurately to clients and families.
- Complete thorough pre-assessments with prospective clients.
- Assess treatment eligibility against admission criteria and insurance policies, in coordination with clinical staff.
- Manage client financial responsibilities and payment arrangements.
- Use Salesforce, CallTrackingMetrics, Availity, and DMAS to track inquiries, manage client data, and move admissions forward.
- Handle sensitive client information with discretion and full HIPAA compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of admissions experience in substance use treatment.
- Proficiency with Salesforce, CallTrackingMetrics, and insurance verification systems (Availity, DMAS, or equivalent).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle high-stress situations with professionalism and empathy.
- Working knowledge of addiction treatment methodologies and insurance processes.
