JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for operating secondary spring machines such as kick press, hydraulic press, pneumatic press, unibender and others. The Secondary Operator will also do assembly work.
REPORTING TO
Department Manager or Supervisor
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Monitor machine operations and stop if a problem occurs.
- Inspects and measures work pieces to ensure specifications are met.
- Removes finished work pieces from machine and sets aside defective pieces.
- Capable of reading and completing work orders.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by manager/supervisor.
SKILLS and ABILITIES
- Ability to follow rules, regulations, safety guidelines, and verbal directions
- Ability to grasp, manipulate or assemble objects
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Knowledge of or ability to learn the use of calipers, micrometers and load test equipment

- Warehouse experience: 1 year (Preferred)
