A Fresh Beginning is seeking compassionate, self-motivated staff to work with individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes. Duties include (but not limited to) medication administration, charting, transportation, cooking, cleaning, assistance with (full showering) bathing and dressing, changing depends, cleaning up after bowel movements (poop). Assistance with walking. You are expected to get up and work, if you are a chair sitter, don't bother.
Applicants must be able to pass a background check, If you have a Felony of any kind DMH says we can't hire you, however if you have a misdemeanor that will be up to the director to make the call whether to hire or not. You must have a vehicle, a MO driver's license, proof of auto insurance, and a high school diploma or equivalent, if you don't have either of these we can help with an alternative. L1MA and CPR certification helpful but not required. Agency will provide all necessary training. If you are interested contact us at 573-426-2418.
Day shifts are not available, although you may be asked or scheduled for a shift other than the one you are hired for. Being flexible is a must.
