We are seeking a Landscape Laborers to join our dynamic landscaping team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting various outdoor maintenance and landscape projects, ensuring the aesthetic appeal and health of our clients’ properties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for outdoor work. Duties
Assist with landscape installation and maintenance projects, including planting, mulching, and soil preparation. Operate hand tools and power equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers to maintain lawns and landscaped areas. Support the use of machinery like excavators for larger landscaping or construction tasks. Perform tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth. Maintain irrigation systems by installing, repairing, or adjusting sprinklers and hoses to ensure proper watering. Engage in snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways clear and accessible. Participate in hardscape installations such as patios, walkways, or retaining walls using appropriate tools and techniques. Conduct general gardening activities including planting flowers, shrubs, and trees while adhering to horticultural best practices. Assist with landscape cleanup, debris removal, and ongoing property maintenance to uphold high standards of appearance. Follow safety protocols consistently while handling tools and equipment to prevent accidents or injuries.
Qualifications
Prior experience or familiarity with landscaping tasks such as lawn care, gardening, or hardscape installation is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Basic mechanical knowledge related to power tools, hand tools, and small machinery like excavators is advantageous. Knowledge of horticulture principles and plant care techniques enhances job performance. Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently is essential. Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions. Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills. A valid driver’s license is beneficial for transporting equipment or materials between sites. Pay: $18.00 - $18.50 per hour
