Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Operations Manager specializing in Plumbing and HVAC services to lead our operational excellence. Duties
- Lead and coordinate all plumbing and HVAC operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with quality standards.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency, service delivery, and business growth.
- Manage profit and loss statements, analyze financial data using Excel for informed decision-making, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Oversee project management activities, including resource allocation, scheduling, risk mitigation, and process improvements.
- Supervise team management initiatives by recruiting, training, mentoring, and developing staff to foster a motivated and skilled workforce.
- Maintain high levels of customer service by addressing client needs promptly and ensuring satisfaction throughout project lifecycles.
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives utilizing lean management principles to streamline workflows and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning, business development efforts, sales strategies, and operational policies.
- Utilize data-driven decision-making approaches to optimize operational performance across multiple teams and projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards while promoting a culture of safety awareness.
Skills
- Proven management experience with a strong background in operations management within the plumbing & HVAC industry.
- Expertise in profit & loss analysis coupled with advanced Excel data analysis skills for financial oversight.
- Strong project management capabilities with the ability to lead complex initiatives from conception through completion.
- Exceptional business management skills including strategic planning, sales development, and process optimization.
- Demonstrated team management and leadership skills with experience in team development and supervising diverse teams.
- Excellent managerial communication skills to effectively liaise with staff at all levels as well as clients.
- Deep understanding of customer service principles with a focus on client satisfaction and retention.
- Skilled in data-driven decision making to identify opportunities for operational improvements.
- Knowledge of lean management techniques aimed at process improvement and waste reduction.
- Ability to execute operational strategies that align with organizational goals while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
