Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Farm Hand/Laborer to join our dynamic agricultural team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for supporting daily farm operations, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the smooth running of farm activities. Duties
- Assist with irrigation reels and pumps
- Operate and maintain farm machinery including tractors, forklifts, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform routine repairs and maintenance on equipment and farm structures using hand tools, power tools, welding, and basic mechanical knowledge
- Support planting, mowing and harvesting activities to promote healthy crop growth
- Handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy loads, moving materials with manual handling techniques, and performing general farm labor
- Able to operate a z-mower, weed eater, forklift, tractor - CDL is an added plus
Experience
- Prior experience working on a farm or in agricultural settings is highly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of farm machinery operation including agricultural tractors and forklifts
- Familiarity with equipment repair, maintenance procedures, welding techniques, and MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) tasks
- Outdoor work experience in varied weather conditions with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting and manual handling
- Strong mechanical aptitude combined with safety awareness to operate power tools and farm machinery responsibly
