Responsibilities
- Clear and clean tables promptly after guests leave, ensuring a tidy dining environment.
- Assist servers by refilling drinks, delivering food, and providing any necessary support during service.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including floors, windows, and restrooms.
- Set up and break down tables for banquets and special events as needed.
- Ensure all utensils, glassware, and dishes are properly cleaned and stored according to food safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and courteously.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders and maintain effective communication during service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining a safe dining environment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette when interacting with guests or taking reservations.
- A team player who is willing to assist colleagues in various tasks as needed, including catering events or banquets.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
