Job Overview:
Maintenance Associates are responsible for the day to day maintenance, cleanliness, and hygiene of the recreation center. They focus on cleaning public areas, restrooms, and other high-traffic spaces to ensure the facility remains safe and welcoming for all users.
Key Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, and common areas, including lobbies, hallways, and recreational spaces.

Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout the facility.

Empty trash bins and ensure waste is disposed of properly.

Clean windows, mirrors, and other surfaces to maintain cleanliness.

Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report low stock levels to the Maintenance Manager.

Perform basic maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs and cleaning vents.

Ensure grounds around the facility (e.g., parking lot) are free of debris.

Shovel the front entrance area and exit doors(not plowed by the plow company) as necessary to ensure safe access to the building.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

1 year of janitorial or custodial experience preferred.

Ability to work independently and handle cleaning equipment safely.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning procedures.

Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies or equipment.
