American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a PCU Float position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and prior travel nursing experience, with day shifts at a hospital setting in Texas.

Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with a float component primarily supporting Med/Surg

Day shift schedule: 3x12 or 4x12 hours (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

84 hours biweekly

13-week contract

Floating required, with primary support to Med/Surg

Epic EMR experience strongly preferred

Active TX RN license or a compact RN license recognized in Texas

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Prior travel nursing experience required

2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

Current certifications must be on file for consideration

All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application or prior to offer acceptance

Facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including testing for marijuana — a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions

Candidates must avoid any substances that could cause a positive drug screen, including CBD products, prior to and during the assignment

Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
