Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and client-focused Behavioral Health Front Desk Coordinator to support daily operations within a co-occurring substance abouse treatment center. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and the ability to maintain structure while providing a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. This role combines behavioral health support with administrative coordination, scheduling, and front desk responsibilities. The Behavioral Health Front Desk Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations while positively representing the program to clients, families, and visitors.
Duties
- Greet clients, families, and visitors in a professional, respectful, and positive manner
- Check clients in and out of services and ensure attendance is accurately tracked
- Oversee front desk operations, including answering multi-line phones and directing calls appropriately
- Provide Behavioral Health Technician support, including monitoring client behavior, maintaining structure, and supporting program expectations
- Observe, document, and report client concerns or behavioral issues to leadership as needed
- Assist with daily scheduling, calendar coordination, and organization of client schedules
- Maintain a calm and supportive office environment that promotes safety and engagement
- Coordinate communication between clinical and operations teams
- Support administrative tasks such as filing, documentation tracking, and supply organization
- Ensure compliance with program policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards
Experience
- Previous experience as a Behavioral Health Technician or in a mental health support role preferred
- Experience with front desk operations, scheduling, or administrative coordination
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to enforce program expectations while maintaining a supportive and respectful approach
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced mental health environment
- Prior experience with clerical tasks such as filing, phone management, and record organization

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
