Experienced Car Audio Installation Technician
Car Audio and Security is seeking a skilled and experienced Installation Technician to join our team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship and has extensive experience with custom car audio installations, fabrication, and vehicle electronics.

Responsibilities
- Install aftermarket car audio, security, and electronic accessories
- Design and install custom audio systems
- Fabricate custom speaker enclosures, amp racks, and trim panels
- Build and finish fiberglass enclosures and custom interior components
- Perform vehicle disassembly and reassembly without damage
- Install amplifiers, subwoofers, DSPs, radios, backup cameras, remote starts, and security systems
- Troubleshoot electrical and audio system issues
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in car audio installation
- Strong fabrication skills, including MDF, ABS plastic, and fiberglass work
- Experience building custom subwoofer enclosures and show-quality installations
- Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and wiring techniques
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot complex installations
- Experience with remote starts, alarms, and vehicle integration is a plus
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred Skills
- DSP tuning experience
- OEM integration and data bus interface knowledge
- Upholstery and interior customization experience
- MECP certification (preferred but not required)

Pay
$25 - $30 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday – Friday
- Occasional Saturdays as needed
