Summary
As a Frontline Specialist at Wexford Community Credit Union, you will be one of the first point of contact for our members, providing outstanding member service and support. Establish and maintain effective, professional business relations with members and co-workers while protecting member privacy. Ensure members are promptly and professionally served and manage difficult member situations when needed. Implement existing policies, procedures and systems involving teller functions, member service functions, lending services and security procedures. Perform a wide variety of financial services which includes opening accounts, completing member forms , and assisting with account problems as needed. Receive, review, and process loan applications for secured and unsecured loans through an interview process. Present loan requests above lending limit for approval as per loan policy. Professional conduct and demeanor are expected to ensure a highly favorable reputation and image.
Responsibilities
- Provide superior member service to members in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Assist members with account inquires, openings and maintenance.
- Promote credit union products and services to enhance member satisfaction and engagement.
- Receive, review, process, and advice upon lending products and applications.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless member experience.
Requirements
- Experience in residential lending (mortgage, vacant land, and Home Equity products) Strongly preferred
- Proven experience in customer service at a financial institution Strongly preferred.
- The ability to promote products effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic data entry skills with attention to detail.
