Fast-paced kitchen. Tight team. Some kitchen experience strongly preferred.
$20–$23/hr based on experience.
Set part time weekly schedule, consistent hours. Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday & Sunday.
We’re looking for a reliable, motivated person to join our kitchen team at Sharkie’s. This is an entry-level role, but it’s best suited for someone who has at least some familiarity with a kitchen environment and is ready to jump in and move with urgency.
This is a long-term, part-time position with the opportunity to grow into full-time hours during our busy season.
What the job looks like:
- Prepping ingredients and helping execute our menu
- Working both prep and line during service
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and moving efficiently
- Washing dishes, pots, and pans as needed (everyone pitches in)
- Supporting the team to keep service running smoothly
Qualifications
Required:
- Dependable and punctual
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player—no ego, no drama
- Willingness to learn and take direction
Strongly Preferred:
- Previous kitchen or food service experience
- Basic knife skills and food prep familiarity
- Understanding of kitchen pace and workflow
Note:
This is not a slow-paced or highly structured training role—we’re looking for someone who can pick things up quickly and contribute to the team.
Schedule:
- Set weekly schedule—you’ll have the same shifts week to week
- Required shifts include: Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
- Additional shifts may be available based on season and performance
- Hours increase during peak season, but your core schedule remains consistent
