Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Teamcenter Solutions Architect to support a critical U.S. Air Force engineering and sustainment environment. This individual will serve as the technical lead for Siemens Teamcenter and associated digital engineering applications supporting aircraft sustainment operations.
The ideal candidate combines deep Teamcenter administration experience with strong troubleshooting, systems integration, user support, and technical leadership skills. This role requires a self-starter who can independently solve problems, coordinate across government and contractor teams, and maintain a complex production PLM environment supporting engineering, manufacturing, and sustainment activities.
Key Responsibilities
Teamcenter Administration & Support
- Administer Siemens Teamcenter environments across Development, Test, Training, and Production systems
- Monitor system health, performance, and data integrity
- Execute Teamcenter administrative scripts and maintenance activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve Level 2 and Level 3 Teamcenter support issues
- Perform data cleanup, user account maintenance, and revision ownership corrections
- Investigate and resolve abnormal system behavior and data anomalies
- Support software upgrades, patches, and configuration management activities
PLM Technical Leadership
- Serve as primary technical liaison between Air Force personnel, contractors, and software vendors
- Coordinate outages, maintenance activities, and technical support efforts
- Package, document, and submit Teamcenter BMIDE configuration changes
- Maintain alignment of Teamcenter administrative data across multiple environments
- Validate Teamcenter deliverables and data packages received from external organizations
- Support engineering data governance and configuration management processes
Siemens Digital Engineering Environment Support
- Administer and support:
- Siemens Teamcenter
- Siemens Capital
- Siemens NX
- Anark (backup administration)
- Manage software licensing and license file implementation
- Coordinate software approval and deployment activities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Siemens software on client and server systems
- Support integration between PLM applications and related engineering systems
Data Management & Automation
- Develop and execute SQL queries for reporting, analytics, and data cleanup
- Create and maintain administrative automation scripts
- Support batch processing activities and engineering data imports
- Assist with engineering order (EO) imports and bulk data updates
- Prepare systems and data repositories for archive activities
- Develop archive procedures and support code-based archiving initiatives
Infrastructure & Operational Support
- Manage engineering lab environments and supporting hardware
- Serve as support equipment custodian
- Coordinate technical support activities among multiple stakeholders
- Support Authority to Operate (ATO) requirements and cybersecurity compliance activities
- Assist with volume management, storage optimization, and archive preparation
User Enablement
- Provide one-on-one Teamcenter training and mentoring
- Support engineering users with workflow, configuration, and data management issues
- Mentor junior administrators and technical support personnel
- Translate customer requirements into actionable technical tasks for support teams
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- 8-12+ years of Siemens Teamcenter experience
- Extensive experience administering enterprise Teamcenter environments
- Strong knowledge of Teamcenter architecture, configuration, and administration
- Experience supporting Teamcenter in a production environment
- Experience with Teamcenter BMIDE deployment and configuration management
- Strong SQL development and database troubleshooting skills
- Experience creating and executing automation scripts
- Ability to troubleshoot complex PLM and engineering data issues
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Experience supporting U.S. Air Force or Department of Defense programs
- Experience with Siemens Capital
- Experience with Siemens NX
- Experience with Anark publishing solutions
- Experience with engineering configuration management processes
- Experience supporting ATO and cybersecurity compliance efforts
- Familiarity with software deployment automation
- Understanding of digital engineering and model-based engineering environments
- Active DoD Secret clearance
