Class B CDL Delivery Truck Driver – Professional Turf Products

Zimco Supply Co is a distributor of professional turf products throughout the state of Iowa and has been in business for over 25 years. We sell and distribute products to golf courses, field and athletic turf managers, professional lawn care companies, city municipalities and schools, as well as the general public. We are located in our new location in Clive, Iowa. We are members of the Iowa Golf Course Superintendent Association as well as the Iowa Sports Turf Manager Association.
We are looking for a licensed Class B CDL Driver who is looking for a stable local job with a company that is already well established in the state and growing in the metro area! In this role, you will ensure the safety of each delivery from the moment you leave the facility until you have completed each job.
Truck Driver/Warehouse
Driver/Delivery:
-Class B CDL required
-Operation of straight truck and pick- up truck
-Operation of Burro (walk behind forklift)
Duties also include:
-Deliver materials to customers in safe and timely manner, which includes assistance with unloading, ensuring delivery of ticket with material, and collecting payment, if necessary
-Pick up customer returns
-Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor
-Comply with all DOT standards and regulations
-Assist Warehouse manager with the pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, staging, and stocking incoming material
Warehouse:
-Forklift operation
-Truck loading and off loading
-Order picking
-Warehouse organization
-Help with counter sales and meeting and communicating with customers
-Help maintain an orderly and clean warehouse to maintain a safe working atmosphere and work space
Driving Record to be verified
Start Date ASAP
Pay 15th and the 30th of each month. Salary to be discussed.
