Guaranteed minimum: $20 per hour total
Schedule: Part-time or full-time
Availability: Evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
OTTO Richmond is opening soon, and we are looking for experienced, dependable bartenders to join our opening team.
We are seeking people who are confident behind the bar, friendly with guests, organized during busy service, and willing to support the restaurant as a whole. This is a great opportunity to join a growing restaurant at the beginning and build a long-term position with us.
Compensation
- $16 per hour plus tips
- Guaranteed minimum of $20 per hour total

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages
- Provide warm, efficient, and professional guest service
- Check identification and follow all Virginia alcohol-service laws
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar
- Handle opening and closing duties
- Accurately enter orders and process payments through the POS system
- Monitor inventory and communicate low-stock items
- Maintain proper glassware, garnishes, mixers, and bar supplies
- Support counter service, dining-room service, restocking, and light cleaning when needed
- Follow all food safety, alcohol safety, and sanitation procedures
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience required
- Strong knowledge of beer, wine, cocktails, and responsible alcohol service
- Current Virginia TIPS certification, or ability to obtain it before starting
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
- Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required
- Experience with POS systems preferred
