Summit Autism Center has immediate full-time openings for motivated, energetic and creative Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT). All applicants must already have the RBT credential.
The right candidate for this position will be someone who has a passion for working with children, and has the ability to connect with them on a level in which they will understand.
Responsibilities
- Work with children diagnosed with Autism ages 2-16 years old
- Implement specific teaching techniques following ABA principles developed by Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) under the direct supervision of the BCBA
- Communicate and collaborate daily with team members, parents, and supervisors
- Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions
- Complete and submit documentation including daily session notes in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Experience working with children with Autism and/or children with behavioral issues REQUIRED.
- Hold Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential in good standing
- Pass a 10-year background check
- Access to reliable transportation
- Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to respond quickly in short distances (100 feet) in response to the movements and behaviors of children
- Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time

Hours
Full-time hours: Guaranteed 30 hours per week with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week (Clinic is open Monday-Friday 8am-4pm)
