Overview
W9 position. We need Concrete Laborer.
Duties
- Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing to create smooth, durable surfaces aligned with project specifications
- Assist in setting forms for footer and walls.
- Set up and dismantle formwork and scaffolding using carpentry skills and hand tools to ensure accurate concrete placement
- Install rebar reinforcement according to blueprints and technical drawings to strengthen concrete structures
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery such as concrete mixers, pumps, and cutting equipment safely and effectively
- Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute tasks precisely as specified
- Perform site preparation activities including heavy lifting, layout marking, and surface leveling for optimal concrete placement
- Follow all safety protocols related to construction workplace safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Experience
- Previous experience working on construction sites or in masonry, concrete finishing, or related trades preferred but not required; training provided for eager learners
- Knowledge of construction process
- Familiarity with concrete forming, cutting, pouring, and finishing techniques is highly advantageous
- Hands-on experience with rebar, concrete form walls and footers preferred.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction plans accurately while adhering to safety standards
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions throughout renovation or restoration projects
- Basic understanding of construction workplace safety regulations ensures a safe environment for all team members
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
