On-Call MENTAL HEALTH SPECIALIST (HUNTINGTON BEACH & TUSTIN )
Responsibilities include:
- Work with at-risk youth at 24/7 Youth Shelters, in short-term crisis intervention program for children ages 12-17 and young adults ages 18-25.
- Supervise youth, lead educational and recreational activities, and facilitate group counseling sessions.
- Prepare meals, complete cleaning chores, and maintain facility.
Requirements include:
- High School Diploma, College Degree preferred.
- 1-3 years related experience in child development or a professional work environment with at-risk children.
- Team player who is extremely organized.
- Excellent boundaries and ability to handle crisis situations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Approved TB Test/Health Screen, CPR and First Aid certificate (may be completed after employment).
- Must be available for graveyards, weekends and evenings to cover open shifts.
- Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Vietnamese preferred.
