Job Title: Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing practice. This role requires a clinician who excels in multitasking, is comfortable managing a high patient volume, and is passionate about providing care to patients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across the lifespan
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic conditions
- Manage a high-volume patient panel efficiently while maintaining quality care standards
- Perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in eClinicalWorks
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment plans
- See patients three days a week within our Monday-Friday 8am-5pm office hours
- Be available for occasional after-hours phone calls when typical on-call physician is unavailable
Qualifications:
- Current, active NP or PA license in Virginia
- 3+ years experience required, experience in primary care strongly preferred
- Experience with the EMR eClinicalWorks is not required, but preferred
- Strong clinical decision-making skills with the ability to work independently
- Experience managing a large and diverse patient population preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
