Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join our supply chain operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end logistics processes, optimizing warehouse distribution, coordinating transportation planning, and ensuring seamless order fulfillment. Your expertise will drive efficiency across procurement, inventory management, and shipping logistics, contributing to the overall success of our supply chain. Duties
- Oversee warehouse distribution activities, including materials handling, stocking, and inventory control to ensure accurate stock levels and timely order processing.
- Coordinate transportation management systems (TMS) for freight planning, shipping & receiving, and international trade compliance to optimize delivery schedules and reduce costs.
- Utilize data analysis tools such as Tableau, SQL, and Excel to collect, analyze, and report on supply chain metrics, identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Manage procurement processes including sourcing, vendor management, category management, and contract negotiations to secure favorable pricing and terms.
- Conduct root cause analysis on supply chain disruptions or inefficiencies to develop corrective actions that enhance overall process flow.
- Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL), NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier), and other partners to ensure efficient freight movement and compliance with trade regulations.
- Support demand planning, production scheduling, and inventory management using ERP systems like AS400 or equivalent platforms to maintain optimal stock levels.
Qualifications
- Proven experience practicing in a supply chain operations role with a strong understanding of logistics processes including shipping logistics, procurement, and inventory control.
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis using SQL, Excel data analysis tools, Tableau or similar BI platforms.
- Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), ERP systems (such as AS400), and trade compliance regulations.
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with materials handling equipment such as forklifts is preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with vendor management experience to build productive supplier relationships.
- Excellent analysis skills for root cause analysis, process improvement initiatives, and demand planning strategies.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with international trade regulations, freight forwarding practices, shipping & receiving procedures, and NVOCC operations is highly desirable.

Pay: $26.39 - $31.78 per hour
